We Create Blog Hop – Novemeber – Gratitude with Stampin’ Up! Painted Harvest

Hello, November! I am a FALL junkie to be honest. I love just about everything about it, except for the fact that I live where we really don't have a great one. I think it might be time for a road trip. One of the main reasons I love Fall is that I find myself becoming more mindful of all of the reasons I have in my life to be grateful. I love that Gratitude is our theme this month, as I feel it is something that most of us can definitely work on in our lives.

I wanted to create something that had a nice Fall feel that would also be a great card to send to just about anyone that I could acknowledge some gratitude towards.

I stamped the beautiful sunflower image in the same colors as the card stock – Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Soft Suede. Using the Stamparatus for this ensures that you really get the images lined up nicely.

If you don't have the Subtle Thick Impressions Embossing Folder, you NEED to add it to your list – like NOW!It's just the right thing when you want to add just that little something, but more stamping or embellishments just aren't it.

Next up is Kimberley – she has the cutest project with Falling For Leaves!

  1. Love your traditional take on this sunflower. I also love the subtle folder. This is the first time I could actually see what it looks like. A must have.

  2. What a beautiful sunflower. I love the way you coordinated all of the colors. I agree, the embossing folder is amazing! Looks like the textured paper we used to have. The heat embossed sentiment is a nice touch.
