Cute “Fall Frenzy” card ideas

Last Week I posted about the Fall Frenzy promo and posted a cute little project using one of the stamp sets. Well, here are two more cards using one of the sets, Autumn Fest. These are two cards we made in St. George at our all day stampfest!

This card was one of my favorite ones we made. The base is Chocolate Chip with a distressed layer of Mellow Moss, then the leaf is stamped with Mellow Moss ink on Bashful Blue cardstock, also with the edges distressed. The acorn circle is done the same way, with the acorn stamped in Choc. Chip. A Vertically wrapped length of craft colored organdy ribbon really completes this very simple and elegant card.

This second card uses the same set, but has such a different feel just by using the warmer colors of Purely Pomegranate, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive. I love the depth the card has that was acheived by the "generation" stamping of the images.A little Rough Texture wheeled on the base and a tag of Old Olive ribbon make me long for crisp autumn days (something below 90 degrees at least).
