Artisan Wednesday Wow – Stampin’ Up! Flower Fest Bag-a-Bag?

 

Hi there!!! Welcome back!!!

Oh my gosh! It's July ALREADY?!?!?! How did this happen? This is the last month of this current Artisan Design Team. I want to shout it from the rooftops that this group of amazing ladies is not only as talented as you have seen, but each one has embedded themselves deep within my heart. Each one brings something so special to my life. We've smiled, laughed, cried. It's been such a blessing to get to know them!

 

Ok, ok, before I start completely bawling – I suppose I should share today's project with you. And I do mean TODAY'S! I normally create several weeks out, however I have been crazy busy and this just got done! It's so awesome that Stampin' Up! brings us such awesome products to create easily with!

 

I used the cute new Polka Dot bags. LOVE THEM! The reason why I called this a "Bag-a-Bag" was that I used the "Bag-a-lope" technique to give the bag the gusseted sides. To do this, I scored at 1" in on both sides and the bottom, then opened it up from the inside. This makes two little triangles at the bottom that you glue under. It's really easy, and FUN to do with a sealed envelope. SO happy it worked so well with this great bag.
