Thought I do something a little different today. Since coming back from convention I have been dealing with 2 different sides of me.
The one side is the Mommy who is dealing with some very trying times with her three boys. They seem to be in quite the "stage" right now and it's been very difficult. My husband said that while I was in Salt Lake they were great for him. That has been far from the case since though since my return. I can't believe I am so ready for school to start. I love my boys and usually enjoy spending every moment I can with them but AURGHHH.
The other side has been the side that is enjoying the post-convention "high". The after effects of meeting new friends. Some exciting prospects and opportunities that make me feel very special. Hint Hint – Look for some fun announcements soon – a wonderful new weekly post and another surprise.

Instructions
- Paint stand with Frost White Shimmer Paint. Set aside to dry.
- Cut strips of First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper and adhere together. Adhere nest to paper.
- Cover bird with First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper and Frost White Shimmer Paint. Adhere Trinket Crown to bird's head.
- Line bottom of nest with Linen Thread. Adhere bird in nest.
- Punch flowers from Blushing Bride, Peach Parfait, and Poppy Parade Textured Card Stock and First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper using Boho Blossoms Punch and Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack. Punch hole in center of each flower using 1/16" Circle Punch and thread onto White Baker's Twine. Drape line over bird and nest.
- Stamp "Queen for a day" in Early Espresso ink on Naturals Ivory Card Stock, and cover with Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder. Punch out using Scallop Oval Punch, and attach to nest using Mini Clothespin.
- Tie Very Vanilla 1/2" Seam Binding around neck of stand. Adhere Calypso Coral 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon to bottom of stand. Adhere nest to stand.
