My friend Linda

I’d like to take a moment to tell you about my friend Linda Gutierrez (check out her blog too). I met Linda in June 2004. I was 7 months pregnant and my frien invited me to a Stampin’ Up! party at her home. I walked in and met Linda. She was the Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for the evening. I think we hit it off right away. I scheduled my own SU party that night, although I know she was dying to sign me up as a Demonstrator, I told her nicely that no, I was expecting my first baby and already was doing well with another direct sales company.

Over the next year I hostessed MANY parties for Linda – most of the time we sat at my kitchen table until after midnight talking. Finally the next August – when I had a now 1 year old and was expecting number 2, I signed up! Crazy me! Anyhow, I am so grateful that Linda has been there for me on so many occassions over the last 5 years. I enjoy spending what little time I can with her, and was sad when she moved….

She truly helped nurture my love for stamping, and showed me so many ways that it adds to my life. I am grateful that she believed in me enough to offer me the opportunity to be a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. It is because of this that I have so many stamping friends now….and I love it!

Anyhow, as a little thank you for a challenge she hostessed on her blog she sent me these…

Isn’t it so cute?

Then I also received this….

Isn’t this a great idea? She used the Stampin’ Up! tab punch to make little Ribbon bobbins with the coordinating In Color Cardstock!

Linda, if you read this – which you better…..thank you for being my Stamp Momma (“Mrs” Linda Gutierrez – – Ma’am…hee hee hee). Thank you for being a supportive Stampin’ Up! “upline” and most importantly, thank you for being my friend 🙂
