Quick and Simple!

Here’s a really quick yet fabulous card I found on the Stampin’Up! demonstrator website. I love all the products they used. Still, it’s an easy card…that’s perfect! They even put a rub-on on the button! Get out!

Paper:

  • CARD STOCK RUBY RED 8 1/2X11
  • CARD STOCK SOFT SKY 8 1/2 X 11
  • DESIGNER SERIES PAPER PRINTS OLD OLIVE 12 X 12 DBL SIDED

Ink

  • CLASSIC STAMPIN PAD SOFT SKY

Accessories:

  • 2-WAY GLUE PEN
  • SANDING BLOCKS
  • GLUE DOTS MINI
  • BUTTONS FRESH FAVORITES I
  • SCISSORS CRAFT & PAPER
  • RIBBON GROSGRAIN CERTAINLY CELERY 1/4 INCH
  • ON BOARD SIMON UPPER
  • RUB ONS TAKE NOTE

Instructions

1. Stamp background stamp in Soft Sky ink on bottom inch of Soft Sky card (4-1/4" x 11").

2. Adhere Old Olive Prints Designer Series paper (4-1/4" x 1-3/4") to card, and rub Rub-On image to paper. Tie Certainly Celery narrow grosgrain ribbon around front of card.

3. Adhere Ruby Red card stock (4" x 4") to chipboard heart, and sand edges. Adhere to card.

4. Rub image on to Old Olive button, and adhere to card.

  1. this card is so lovely.
    my issue with rub ons etc is that you have to keep buying them. stamps are ok but i wish there was an easier and cheaper way to “re-use” phrases when i make cards without having to use stickers or rub on thingys.
