A New Award?
Seriously, can I give myself a bad blogger award? Geez!
Anyhow, back's feeling a little better, but I have a follow up on Tuesday, so we'll see what my real doc says. I'm just glad I can get out of stinkin' bed again.
Went to SoCal last weekend to attend my cousin's baby shower and had a great time. Got to hang out with the fam which was great! Saw my G'ma (my BFF) so I'm pretty happy.
Workin' on a new "project" – my little dude is turning 4 on Friday!!!! How did this happen? I remember waking up four years ago tomorrow (the 28th – my Dad's b-day btw) and knowing that things were happening…. ok, so back to NOW!!! I am making a rather phenomenal Thomas the Train cake….phenomenal in the fact that I am making Thomas from fondant and I've never done fondant work before….if you don't know it's a little like play-doh for cakes! Anyhow….I'm doing ok…as my own worst critic I will probably only be "satisfied" with the way it turns out, not "happy". All in all, I think it's coming along rather well. I guess one of these days I'll actually be able to take a class for cake decorating then watch out!
Hubby might get the call about his promotion as early as Friday! Yahoo! I know he is sooo excited! This will make life a lot easier….well, at least financially. I am expecting quite a few changes in our lives as he adjusts to the new "boss" position, and undoubtably a new schedule/shift.
Still trying to get the hang of the whole homeschool/preschool schedule, but with all that's been going on, it's been a little difficult.
