#tgif175 – It’s a Fancy Friday, Tic-Tac-Toe, Bundle kind of day – Stampin’ Up! Follow Your Dreams
Hi friends!!!! I am so happy that you stopped by today!I love Fridays, and when Fancy Friday combines with TGIF Challenges – it's even better! So – I am combining the two challenges/themes this week. I must say, I think they paired up perfectly! Please make sure that you go through the hop – there are some BRILLIANT projects! The theme for this month's Fancy Friday is "Pick a Bundle", and I decided to pair that with the far left vertical line in the tic-tac-toe board. The bundle that I chose is the Follow Your Dreams bundle. It was my number one must have from the new catalog, and I am so glad that I didn't wait!
The base of this simple, "one layer" card is Water color paper. After spraying it with some water to prime it, I dabbed Coastal Cabana, Balmy Blue and Highland Heather inks onto the wet are to create the blended wash area in the background. Instead of stamping any of the images, I wanted the high contrast that I knew I would get from using the die cuts in the bundle. A small piece of Washi tape anchors the dies, pulling it together.
