The other swap
Ok, so I totallllly forgot to post this card! This is the other swap card that I made for the SCS diner swap using the Dare to be Fabulous Stamp Set by Stampin’Up! I used Ruby Red for the card base and layered Cameo Coral on top. I stamped the small flower image in VersaMark on the Cameo COral and then the flower center with Ruby Red. The main strip is on Shimmer White Cardstock and is all one piece. The flower is not a separate piece from the strip. I cut the strip part then cut around the flower. I like the way it turned out. The main flower is actually Poppin’Pastels and I used the Always Apricot, Cameo Coral and Ruby Red pastels. I also had to give in to one of my few stampin addictions and thats the addition of black gingham. I’m really pleased with the way it turned out and it looked so pretty in real life. I always get nervous when I’m doing swaps…. Oh yeah, btw – thanks to my downline Jen for lending me the stamp set when I was having TOTAL stamper’s block with my own!

Your poppin’ pastels looks beautiful, and your “out of the box’ looks perfect!!
