Happy Birthday Mom!
Tomorrow is my Mom’s birthday. Even though I put her through the wringer when I was younger, my Mom is probably one of my best friends now. She was a single Mom who always tried to make things fun for us. I have some great memories of Mom, and hope I can fill her shoes.
Here we are on Shane’s birthday with the cake she helped me make. The next picture is her and my boys (She made the clown costume – too talented). Still wish she didn’t live 3 1/2 hours away…..
Did you begin to wonder if you would ever see another card on here again? Well – here you go, it’s the card I made for Mom. I used my new Wild Rose set (pretty, but it’s no Roses in Winter) and It’s your birthday sets. The colors I chose started as Blush Blossom, Brocade Blue and Close to Cocoa as those really make me think of Mom, I added Pretty in Pink, Celery and Olive, and Buckaroo Blue to compliment. I think she’s going to love it. I think she’s my biggest fan (maybe with Melanie aka Batgirl in close third after the hubby, hee hee)
What a great card! I love the flowers! I need your mom and you to come up next month and help me with Lincolns b day! Im going to do an Alligator theyme! ya I guess I need to start getting that going! Happy Birthday Jeannas mom!
