Please pray

Earlier today one of my good friends was shot in the leg while on duty. He was following a suspect that had just opened fire in an adult night club. After the suspect crashed his car, Blake came under fire. He is in stable condition and was scheduled for surgery at my last update. Blake has been a friend of mine since he was the first responding officer when I was a victim of a take over robbery at a credit union I worked at back in 2000.  He was a hero to me then as he has been to countless other citizens of Las Vegas. He's a great guy with a great personality and I am praying for him to have a quick and strong recovery. If you can lift up a quick prayer for the same, I'm sure he could use it right now. Thanks – now I'm off to make a quick get well soon card!
