Stamping Station Blog Hop – Layers of Love with Stampin’ Up! Love Notes
Hello! Welcome! Ok, so I know I started out just the other day, announcing my “come back” if you will – excited about my TGIF Challenges post…but I have even MORE exciting news. If I thought it had been a long time since I stamped for TGIF, well, it was just as long since I stamped with the Creation Station crew. Just last month there was a fun change with Creation Station, and I just couldn’t get it together to participate – but the Creation Station Team and the Stamping Sunday Team decided to join forces, and now we are all hopping together!!! You can find us on our Blogs and/or on our Instagrams!

The theme for this month is “Layers of Love”. Whether it was lots of layers or just love in general, we kind of left it up for interpretation. I’ll admit. I might have sent a preview of my project to one of the coordinators and asked her if she felt that it would be ok. I admitted that I am still feeling a little unsure of myself as I get back in to all of this. I told her I was allowing myself plenty of grace, and she assured me that it was good – so here it is!!! LOL

So there was ZERO stamping on this card!!!! I totally depended on the Love Notes 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, and an adaptation of Friday’s #tgifchallenges sketch. I did layer a little, using coordinating Flirty Flamingo and Cherry Cobbler Cardstocks for the base, and behind the image I chose as the main sentiment. I also added a cute little scallop by using one of Stampin’ Up!’s older punches. I also used some older Gingham Ribbon. I kind of wish I had a lifetime stash of it, honestly. Gingham has always been one of my favorites, and if you have followed me for any length of time, you’ll know that I LOVE pops of black, especially with the gingham. I like how it offsets the watercolor look of the images in the paper.
I appreciate you stopping by today, and I hope that I inspire you. Even if just a little bit to create today. I am excited to be inspired by the other stampers too, so I hope you will explore everything that everyone is sharing. If you want to see the Instagram hop – my IG is @stamptimesomewhere and you can follow through the rest of the blogs below!

I love your divine card, Jeanna. And welcome back to creating – I have been MIA too, and I love being back xox
