A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop – Hello Pumpkin

 Hello!!!

    Thank you so much for joining me today on this month's A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop, featuring the AMAZING kit – Hello Pumpkin. When I say AMAZING, I mean AMAZING. 

Now, I know some people prefer the card kits to the treat kits, and this is a treat kit. This kit has SO MUCH in it. First, they worked really hard to make a kit that could be used for Halloween or Thanksgiving/Autumn. Second they packed it FULL – like over 500 pieces FULL of paper crafting greatness!

I geared my alternates more towards the Thanksgiving/Autumn side of things. A sweet little treat holder using the Little Treats Box die from the August-December Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog, and an Autumn theme card.

I LOVE this little treat box – it's super versatile, and it fits Ghiradelli Square chocolates perfectly!!! I cut out 2 from a sheet of Bumblebee cardstock. I LOVE how our designers made it the perfect size to do that! To make the background stamping go more quickly, I put all three of the small flower/leaf images on one acrylic block. I LOVE the pumpkin images, and LOVED coloring them with a variety of Stampin' Blends to get that rich, vibrant color.

 I don't always use a lot of the die cuts and such from the kits on my alternative projects, because I usually still make up the projects pretty close to how they were designed after. This time though, there were SO MANY!!! I knew I really wanted to use the cute pumpkin die!!! I also LOVE adding touches of blues and teals in with my fall decor, so I thought I would jazz up a few Rhinestones by customizing them with a Pretty Peacock Blends Marker.

With it being such a fabulous kit, it is sure to be a fabulous hop! I can't wait to see what everyone has created!!!
