Artisan Wednesday Wow – December His and Hers Wreath

Hi! Welcome Back!

It's a brand new month, and time for our Artisan Weekly Wednesday Wow Blog Hop!  Maybe you just came from Jane's blog – I just love that girl! If not, make sure you follow the hop all the way around to check out all 10 projects!
 
So you might have seen part of this project on the Stampin' Up! Artisan Facebook Page last week, but you didn't see the whole thing….
 

This box was actually inspired by my husband! We like to do a “his and hers” project every month, he stamps something, and I am supposed to use it as my inspiration. Well, this month he made me work, his project was AWESOME! (I’ll be sharing his project during our blog hop, so please make sure to check it out!!!!) It took me a while to figure out how I could “step it up” but in the end…. I LOVE what he inspired me to create!

Here is what HE created – I LOVE IT! I was so proud of what he came up with, I knew it would be HARD to top it! Can you believe he came up with this idea all on his own?!?!?

It took me a while before I could figure out what I could do to "Artisan it up" as we say… Here is what I did….

 I will admit that this did take a WHILE. He set the bar HIGH though! I really wanted to give this wreath the dimension it deserved. After I stamped it in Pear Pizzazz, I went in and shaded the leaves with other green markers to give it the detail, then I highlighted the branches and berries with markers as well.

COLOR COMBO -Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresspo, Pear Pizzazz,  Whisper White

TIP – I did shade the inside of the wreath with my blender pen and Sahara Sand Ink Pad – I didn't want to cut out the inside!
