Yuppers….Actually the 55 pieces you saw in the photo cost me $55. I actually spent about $85 for 85 pieces, but gave some for a gift and some to a friend…
This is what happened
Cell phone rings….
me: "Hi my wonderful brother, how's it going?"
Bro: "Great my most amazing sister (ok sorry….) hey, I'm up at Wal Mart around the corner…all the red tag clearance apparel is only a buck."
me: " a WHAT?!? are you serious?"
Bro: "yeah, there's a bunch of crazy people with entire carts full of clothes"
me: "I'll be right there…..as soon as I get through this stupid traffic…are you SERIOUS?!?"
Bro: "yup"
me: " You know I'll be one of those crazy people…."
Bro: "Yeah….I know……"
So a cartfull of clothes later……I call hubby…"oh hubby…you do know your wife is insane right? So you can NOT freak out when I get home….."
Anyhow, yeah, socks, jeans, shoes, outfits, skirts, blouses, baby clothes. If I hadn't already made myself late for a baby shower I probably could have, and would have bought sooooooo much more…. hee hee hee. What's your best savings story?
