Blog Candy drawing

I will draw for my blog candy winner on Monday. I do not know what time – I will do it as long as I am feeling ok. If you haven’t entered yet – see this post. Thanks for all the input!

Recovery update: today – not doing so bad. I was able to eat some baby food oatmeal and some really really thinned downed instant potatoes (like soup). Woke up last night at 2 or so and the pain was excrutiating. Felt like ripping my teeth out. Jaw hurt – get really bad headaches. Hopefully will feel better for a few days, then I know I will go through another round of bad pain as the scabbing comes off. Yuck!

  1. I feel for you — been thinking about you. I had my tonsils out at 21 (I’m now 40) and it was absolutely not a walk in the park, but I didn’t want to scare you. You will feel better and better each day — the more you can drink to keep your throat moist, the better off you are. Best of luck!

  2. Sorry to hear you aren’t feeling good. I had my tonsils out at 19 and it was the pits! A blog clot formed in my throat and it was not pretty when it broke (won’t go into detail), but wanted to let you know you are not alone. They say the older you are, the harder it is.
But on the bright side, it DOES get better! Ü
