I got a new computer – I got a new computer!!!
Ok, so I was ready to put a bullet in my old dell, when my brother saved me. He took me to Best Buy (he’s kind of a computer geek – ok so he really is one and I am soooo grateful right now for it) and he helped me pick out a great new computer. When we came home and tried to transfer my old hard drive over into this one – NOTHING. Seriously locked up hard drive (I may now hate Dell computers) After 5 long hours, he was able to pull my files off the old dell hard drive and I am now semi – functioning again. This new one has Vista vs XP, but I had Vista on my laptop so I am somewhat familiar, but there’s a lot of newness still. I also need to find my Picture It and see if it will be compatible so I can do my photo editing. I know it’s not the fanciest photo software, but I’m comfortable with it. Anyhow, so it still might be a few days before you see anything REALLY cool, but I’ll try!

So for the few of you who haven’t seen this ( I get more hits for this than anything else it seems) here is my first tutorial on making a gift card holder. It’s pretty cool.
Yay!!! Now, you can function again. I know how rough it is when the computer’s down or you can’t get to your info. Darling CJ reformatted my hard drive for me, before I could get the pictures off that’d been there since I got the machine in the late 90s! School stuff was gone! Oh, I was ticked!
Congrats on your new computer! It’s so funny, ’cause I use Picture It! as well. I’ve used it so long, that I’m just so comfortable with it. I hope it works with Vista, ’cause I don’t think it will be long before I am in need of another computer as well. 😉
