We Create Blog Hop – Stampin’ Up! 2014 New Catalog – Flamingo Lingo, Ronald McDonald House Set

 Hi friends!

    I am excited to once again participate with the "We Create" Blog Hop Team. This month we wanted to share with you some projects with some of the awesome stamp sets from the NEW Stampin' Up! catalog!!!!!

   I was fortunate enough to attend an event last month in Long Beach, CA where Stampin' Up! unveiled the new Stampin' p! Catalog. While there, the attendees were treated to a "my favorite things" type session and one of the great gifts was the Flamingo Lingo stamp set. I was super excited, because it's the set that Stampin' Up! has chosen to be our Ronald McDonald House set this year! Every time someone buys the set, we donate $3 to RMHC!!!

 I loved it the moment I saw it, but then I wasn't quite so sure what I was going to do with it. I found myself with about 2 hours to stamp and came up with these 3 fun cards. I was really hoping to get 3 different looks.. tell me what you think….

This one I wanted bright and fun. I added some sponging to the oval to give it a bit of an ombre look. I also used the new Strawberry Slush Thick Baker's Twine and Back to Black Designer Series Paper – LOVE IT!!!

 EEEEK! I love how this one turned out – even though I don't think it's a very "Jeanna" card. I embossed the flamingo and sentiment in Gold Embossing Powder. See those big, fun polka dots? They are from the Calypso Coral Celebration Add-On Kit (p 202) I LOVE them! I had to add some FUN Gold Sequin Trim. To add it to my card, I took a length, folded it in half and tied a piece of Crisp Cantaloupe Twine into a bow around it.

Nothing to special on this one, used a piece of the Designer Paper from the Celebration Add-On kit again. I also used the Calypso Coral marker to add some shading on the stamp after I inked it in Crisp Cantaloupe. OH! and how excited am I that there is BLACK Baker's Twine now?!?!?!?! Seriously awesome. I needed it!!!!

 Well, as you can see I am seriously excited about this new catalog and I can not wait to continue to share more and more ideas with you over the next year! FOR NOW though, make sure you keep checking out the rest of the hop!
