We Create Blog Hop – Relationship Celebrations – Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden

Hello! Happy 1st day of June! Are you ready for the wonderful "lazy days" of summer? I am for sure, even though it isn't usually all that lazy for me, it is slightly less busy than the school year. WCBH

This month at the We Create Blog Hop we are celebrating all the wonderful relationships in our lives. While June is a month we celebrate Fathers, Grads, and June brides, I chose to focus on a relationship that has become increasingly important to me – a relationship with friends!

I made these cards last month as part of a retreat thrown by Amy Combs. She provided the supplies, and I was able to stamp them at home. She designed them with a different stamp set, but I chose to use one I already had, and hadn't used in a while, Dragonfly Garden.

Dragonfly Garden 2

I love the simple color scheme of this mini slim line card. It uses two of the patterns from the AMAZING Pattern Party Designer Series Paper that is offered as one of our awesome HOST REWARDS. Did I just scare you away? Don't let that scare you away. Of course you can make a similar card with other Designer Series Papers, but you can get this pack easily too. A personal order of just $150 will qualify you to choose this!!! The Black, White, and Flirty Flamingo color combo paired with the easy beauty of the wildflower image from the stamp set is the perfect way to bring a smile to a friend's face!

Dragonfly Garden 3

This second one has a completely different look, while using the exact same stamp images! It's one of the things I love most about using our stamps! This card also features a pattern from the Pattern Party Paper!!! Totally different look though! It also uses an awesome die from the Scalloped Contour Dies (must have!!!) This die set is also part of the Color and Contour Bundle.

I hope these cards inspire you to look at using your stamps in different ways, to get different looks and feels for different occasions, and even if a card is shown with a set you might not have, look at what you DO have in order to create something wonderful!

  1. Your first card is so pretty and I love the flowers highlighted with the pink. But I reallllly love me some blue and brown! I love that you showed entirely different cards with the same products!

  2. I love celebrating friendships and I probably don’t send out enough cards to let my friends know I care. These both are great ways to showcase that stamp – Love the pink with the strip of black pattern.
