OSAT Blog Hop – Welcome to our Holiday

 Hi there!!!! Welcome back! Hope you are having a good day. Hopefully you are also enjoying this month's One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop. We are hoping to inspire you with lots of great ideas from the Stampin' Up! 2019 Holiday Catalog.

 This is by far one of my favorite Holiday Catalogs ever! There are gorgeous suites and tons of inspiration. 

 Today I thought I would start out with a little Fall project. I like finding versatility with my stamp sets and when I saw the Frosted Foliage bundle, i knew I would be able to make not only some great Christmas projects, but Fall ones as well.

    I love the rich colors in the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper and used it for my inspiration. I stamped the Birch Background stamp in Crumb Cake ink on a piece of Crumb Cake card stock, then ran it through my die cut machine with the Subtle 3D embossing folder for some extra texture. The sentiment is embossed with Copper Embossing powder. I sent the layer with the sentiment through twice to create the small die cut. I love the little extra that the Copper Foil and Copper embossing adds.

 

    This cute little box  was made with our new Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box. Isn't it adorable? It is so tiny, but it fits a Lindt chocolate truffle perfectly. I wanted it to coordinate with the card, so I stamped it the same as above.

  *Here is a little tip if you want to stamp the die after you cut it, cover the area you don't want stamped (like the bottom)with a Post It note.

 I also found that if you take your Bone Folder and give the inside of the box a little curl, it gives it a little better shape.
