Artisan Wednesday Wow – Burlap and Blooms Home Decor – and a GIVEAWAY FOR YOU!
Are you excited?!?!?! I am – this is the first time that the Artisan Design Team has been able to bring you this great opportunity. TO WIN some of the products that we used for our projects this month!
Do you have a hard time thinking outside of the box? I kind of did for a while when Stampin’ Up! asked me to create a project with the Burlap and Blooms Simply Created Wreath Kit that was NOT a wreath, it took me a while to think of what I wanted to create. Finally I decided on a simple home décor addition that anyone could do with this kit, candle wraps.
I used the awesome Burlap Ribbon to wrap around the candles and used a Hardware Clips Essentials to secure it in the back of the candle being as no one will see it anyhow and then I can change them for the season. Then I PLAYED with the flower pieces and created little bouquets to add to the fronts! (Of course if you put these on real candles and choose to light them, you would want to remove them first. You could be safe and use the flameless candles and then leave them on)

I’ve been wanting this kit for quite some time — I want to make the wreath simply because it is so pretty. But I think I’d also like to try and create a banner with it — I’m having a banner moment (no pun intended). Just really into banners right now 😀

Pretty straight forward. I would make a wreath. I have a burlap ribbon wreath that I have been changing out for the seasons, and this would be fab for the next!

Love your candles, Jeanna! I really like banners, so I might use this kit to create some beautiful spring-ish type of banner. Or I might use it the way it is designed and make a wreath. It really is pretty that way.
