Birthday Wishes

This week was my Hubby's birthday. I had fun maing his card, but more fun bringing the boys into my stamp room ( a rare treat for them) so that they could make a card for Daddy.

So here is the one I made:

Daddy's Bday by Momma 

I used the Stampin' Up! set Happiness is a Journey (dormant), I colored it with Always Artichocke, Close to Cocoa and Night of Navy markers. I then added the Cracked Glass technique to add some interest. That layer is backed by a layer of Night of Navy. I did sand the Antique Brass eyelets a little to bring out more of a gold color.

Here is the one that my 4 year old little dude made for Dad. He is getting quite good in his stamping abilities, so with supervision I let him use the markers. The boys always ick out what stamp set and colors they want to use. I may help with suggestions, but they do all of the actual stamping themselves. He used Temting Turqoise and Gable Green with the Party Hearty set. Oh, I did the punching….
