Happy Birthday…just a fun, mid-week card featuring Balloon Celebration and Happy Birthday Thinlit
Hi there!
Now that things are falling in to place around the house, I am finding more snippets of time to create. Today I got a jolt of inspiration with the new Happy Birthday Thinlit that will be available on the 2nd, and decided to create. It didn't fit with any of my upcoming blog challenges, so I figured I might as well not wait and go ahead and post it!!!
I think that this card is so "me". It combines, fun, bright colors, and watercolor, which y'all know that I LOVE!!!
This new Thinlit makes adding a great birthday sentiment EASY! I love the way it looks shadowed, so I cut it once with Melon Mambo, and once in Basic Black. I also added lots of shimmer but covering it in my clear Wink of Stella brush.
The background is a basic watercolor wash on our awesome Watercolor paper. I used Pool Party this time. The adorable balloons are stamped with the outline from Balloon Celebrations on Calypso Coral, Lemon Lime Twist, and Bermuda Bay, then punched out with the coordinating punch. Easy peasy, lemon-lime squeezy!
