2012 Artisan Award Winner Blog Hop – Project 1

I am so excited to be posting this today! Taking part in this blog hop REALLY means that I AM a part of Stampin’ Up!’s first ever Design Team. This has been a dream come true and I am still pinching myself… I might be pinching myself through the whole year I have this privilege!
Anyhow, we figured it was time to really share and showcase our entries that earned us this amazing opportunity!
What you may or may not know is that my ENTIRE submission was COMPLETELY created in My Digital Studio…big shock to those of you that are here all the time – LOL. Anyhow, so I will be sharing kind of a mix of my projects. Some will be photos from the display boards, but I will mostly be sharing with you my MDS jpgs so that you can see a little more detail on some of them.
Here is the first card I created. This took a LOT of time. The branch is part of a tree stamp, each colored leaf was an individual stamp and then I used the overlay stamp for the detail (Through this hop, you will really learn why I am so grateful for the new features of MDS2)
Here is the front ( I put a border around the edges, because it was a white card)
then, when it was opened, this was the top and bottom spread
I like the clean and simple look to this card. Here are the supplies I used
