Celebration! MDS Blog Hop

This week we were challenged to create a project focusing on a Celebration! I chose to create a scrapbook page featuring my youngest son's 1st Birthday. I expecially loved being able to coordinate the page with all of the fun details I created for his party.

I worked on this last week, and I must admit, I am a little emotional right now, because as of this morning, this sweet little face currently looks like this:

Here he is yesterday, before he took a face plant into a brick/rock fire pit… (thank goodness it was the side without the fire, or things could have been so much worse.)

As you can see, he is in good spirits, despite the fact that I am still having a hard time 🙂

Well, I hope that you like my page about my sweetie's first birthday, it really was a wonderful day! I am so looking forward to seeing what all the other designers came up with this week! With all that's been going on, I really am not sure who is participating this week… hopefully they will at least post the links for you!

  1. What a fun party and even “funner” page! 🙂 Looking at that picture of Tanner breaks my heart every time. Audrey was running when she was that age and fell face-first into a dining room chair and ended up with two black eyes. I was so sad every time I looked at her (and was afraid to take her anywhere for the looks I’d get!) He’ll get better, Mom! 🙂
