A special Valentine’s Day message
Of course I had the grandest intentions of cranking out dozens of adorable Valentine's Day projects, and the most special cards for my amazing boys in this house….but let's face it…….it did not happen.
8 months pregnant, recovering from pneumonia…I had to cancel my Valentine's Stamp Camp (my favorite of the year). Then there was my baby shower and Thank You cards to write out, throwing my Sister in Law's baby shower last Saturday, tought a simple Valentine Card class to the ladies at church on Thursday, then yesterday I threw my Son's 4th birthday party (which was awesome!) So….needless to say I do not have adorable projects and cards to wow you with. I wish I could say that I had cards to give to the people that mean the most to me today.
I hope that they will understand that the reason I don't have gorgeous cards that I spent time on for them was because I was spending that time ON THEM. I know my husband would let me sneak away in here to create some today – but today is my baby's 4th birthday and I want to spend it with him (yeah – there's no birthday card yet either). With a new little guy cominig in just a few weeks, I want to make sure that my 4 year old knows exactly how special he is to me. So with that – I am going to go crawl back in to bed with him and love every minute of watching Playhouse Disney with him.
