What – a card you say?

Ok, so I know it’s been a while since I posted a card. Anyhow, although it’s quite simple, this is another one of my entries I sent in to Stampin’ Up! for the Convention Stamper call. It is a Creamy Caramel base and I used Stampin’Up!s pPolka Dot background in Creamy Caramel. I sponged Creamy Caramel around the edges for a little interest. The main image is from a set called Pun Fun and is soooo much Fun to work with! I stamped it on watercolor paper and colored by watercoloring with SU’s awesome Water Color Wonder Crayons. A quick mat on Chocolate Chip and then 2 of the large Photo Corners from the Photo Corner punch, punched out in Ruby Red. It’s a fairly easy card, but I felt it hit a few trends that I’ve seen. A fairly simple design and kind of graphic.

I won’t be around the next few days. I am going to have the opportunity to do a stamping class for my "second fave" group of stampers (my first of course being my ladies here). These are friends of my super cool Aunt Cindy down in Torrance, CA. I am driving down tomorrow morning, doing the party tomorrow afternoon, then I get to stay with my Mom Sat. night , then back here Sunday afternoon! Busy but fun! I have a BIG surprise for Mom, but I don’t want to post here ‘cuz sometimes she reads this…..

I will probably see ya back on Tuesday. I am going to take my laptop though, so maybe (NO PROMISES) you’ll see me. Hope y’all have a good weekend. Look forward to seeing people on Monday night!
