We Create Blog Hop – Step it Up September!

 

 Hi, Welcome Back!!!! 

   It's that time again. Time to Step It Up with the We Create Blog Hop. It is a little hard to believe that I am writing the September post already, but sure enough.

 This month we're trying something a little different, we're adding in some holiday projects to the regular ones! The AMAZING new Holiday Catalog is launching TODAY!!!! You are going to go BANANAS over it!!! You'll see a lot of new products in my projects today.

 My Dad and his wife both have birthday's in August, and they both enjoy wine. I bought these solely on what the labels looked like as I myself don't like wine at all! I was so excited to see that I could fit TWO bottles in to our new 6"x17" Gusseted Cellophane Bags. These things are HUGE!!! Some fun tags with the Mixed Drinks set, some of our gorgeous Gold Satin ribbon, quick and easy way to dress up a gift.

 Pretty, huh???

 I wanted simple – even for the stepped up version. I knew that these would be tossed aside pretty quickly, unfortunately. Thank goodness our Big Shot makes quick work out of so many projects. I LOVE the Lots of Labels dies for tags, especially for layering.

 Here is the simple one –

 I stamped in Soft Suede, So Saffron and Cherry Cobbler, using Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake as the card stock colors. I pulled my color scheme from the bottle labels.If you haven't used the Gold Satin Ribbon – you totally should, it is divine!

Here is the stepped up version

 Not too different, these glasses and the banner outline were embossed in Gold Embossing Powder though, for a little extra glitz. I love the added label and the tiny bit of Gold thread in the background. Again, I kept it fairly simple knowing that they would probably not be kept.

 I also wanted to do some holiday tags. This time, something a little more my speed – ROOT BEER! I love root beer (and ginger ale, cream soda, sasparilla, and birch beer…lol)

 SO CUTE!!! These are both pretty simple too. I chose to use the Candy Cane Christmas set this time. I love the adorable sentiments in it!!

 First up is the simple version

 Being as I kept the stamping SO simple, I did add a little extra pizzazz with the awesome new Cable Knit Dynamic embossing folder – this sucker is no joke – it embosses DEEP!

These images are so adorable – they remind me of little sugar cookies! This time on the back tag I used the Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape. I LOVE this Real Read, Crumb Cake and Whisper White combo! So classic.
