Things I learned at Convention 2012 – Thank you, Bonnie Thurber, Ronda Wade, Tami White,Carrie Cudney, Shannon West, Donna Griffith, Pam Morgan and Karen Hauley!

(This post is a good read for Stampin' Up! Demonstrator's and EVEN THOSE THAT AREN'T *yet – LOL*)

This was my 5th Stampin' Up! Convention and my 8th or 9th direct sales Convention total. Sometimes I feel like I hear the same things over and over, but I love hearing the ideas presented in new and fun ways. Sometimes it may not "hit me", and sometimes it's right on the mark. Here are a few things I picked up from some of my classes this year.

I Am Doing Business My Way – the lovely Bonnie Thurber – I learned about "Saturday Convention Hair" LOL, Seriously now, I learned several new ways to offer Private Classes and Inncentives from Ronda Wade and a start on how to offer a "hybrid" Club to my customers from Tami White.

I AM Open for Business with Carrie Cudney – Where do I begin? After learning about some of the new campaigns that Stampin' Up! will be launching, I learned so many ideas from other successful demonstrators, Connie Heisey, Patty Bennett, Catherine Pooler and Dawn Olchefske. My customers should expect to see some fun new things!

I AM Having Fun – Always fun – I learned a lion face can make anyone laugh, I learned to smile more and have more FUN. Learned some fun new icebreakers, some ways to make the party more fun and comfortable and inviting by including all of the senses!

I AM Savvy – Donna Grifftith and 3 AMAZING Demonstrator Presenters – Meg Wheeler, Laura Milligan, and Dawn Griffith. Dawn taught some of the CUTEST ribbon ideas, Laura is a WHIZ with our fabric and I can not wait to make some cute little holders for my paper snips and some of the ideas that Meg had with the Simply Snet kits…amazing!

I AM Making Money – Pam Morgan taught a wonderful class. I was reminded to be more consistent, to not focus on the money, but the sharing. It was also a wonderful reminder of how the AMAZING bonuses that Demonstrator's recieve are awarded. I SO want to earn some of those $2,000 bonuses!

I AM Earning an Incentive Trip! Karen Hauley is FUN! Did you know that last year Stampin; Up! Demonstrators could earn a trip to FIJI!!!!! Or a getaway to Hilton Head!!!!! Seriously, and this year we can earn a Western Caribbean Cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's newest ship, the Allure of the Seas or a Getaway trip to GORGEOUS San Diego! How FUN!!! Honestly for me, this class was mostly MOTIVATIONAL! Who wouldn't want to learn from other who have already been on these trips how to earn it myself.
