#tgifc323 Color Challenge – A different take with the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Greenery Die

Hello and Happy Friday!!! I have been a busy little stamper lately! I posted four projects yesterday, this card today, and have another one posting Sunday!!! It's been so much fun. I LOVED the cards I posted for yesterday's We Create Blog Hop, but I'm just as excited about today's TGIF Color Challenge Card.

 I went back and forth between a few ideas. I kept leaning towards flowers, but just wasn't feeling it! Not sure why. I ultimately decided I wanted to do some watercoloring, and thought I would try something really new to me!!! I LOVE how it turned out!

 The main background is created by running a piece of our Fluid 100 Water Color Paper through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the Stitched Greenery Die. I honestly hesitated on investing in this Die, and I am SO GLAD I DID!!! It makes this WONDERFUL textured and subtle background. I used a Water Painter and Granny Apple Green ink to color the leaf image. Took a few minutes, but I must admit, it's rather stunning in person. I brought in the Polished Pink Fresh Freesia from the challenge by making a "Tammy" bow. I love the look of the thin ribbon that you get when you cut these ribbons in half up the middle and then use them to tie your bow.
