Super Saturday was SUPER!

Oh my gosh I had so much fun Saturday. I didn’t expect it to be a 12 hour day – but boy it was FUN! I think at one time I had 9 around my table for 8 and we happened to luck out that some people were finishing as others came in! For all of you that shared your day with me, Thank You and I hope you had enough fun to come back again….for those of you that missed it – PHOOEY on you…no just kidding! Hopefully you can make it next time!

Here is one of the cards we made. Well, most of us made the RED one, Christi had to do hers in purple and change the sentiment to make them to send to friends. I had great inspiration from this card here. This is a GREAT new set in the Stampin’Up! Spring Summer 08 Collection called Together Forever. Thank you Christi for letting me borrow it! I think that it has great versatility and potential. I think you need it too…hee hee

I also did something a little out of my comfort zone. Today I sent in some samples to Stampin’ Up! to be considered for one of the make and take display stampers. If I get chosen then I would receive a box with the make and take stamp sets that we get at convention, but early so I could make samples to be on display at convention. Clear as mud? I think it would be fun. I know there is a lot of fabulous stampers that send in their stuff but I figure I aint got a shot unless I try. I’ll keep you updated. This year’s convention is in Salt Lake City and I am so excited. I am already going early for some extra stamping time, but I hope to be able to sneak in some genealogy time at the Family History building. I am fascinated with Salt Lake, and even though I’ve only been there twice, it feels very comfortable to me. I just don’t think I’d want to live there because I realllly don’t like snow.

Update on Grandpa….one day good, one day not so good, but he is responsive so that’s a good sign. My Mom finally went home (an hour away or so) yesterday, I think she could really use the break being home. Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts.
