PCC 233 Tic Tac Toe Time – Hey, Chick – Stampin’ Up!

It's March y'all!!! Can you believe it? We've started baseball and I am ready for some nicer Spring weather. Being a SoCal/NV girl, I FREEZE below 60, so sitting at practice when it is 53 out is not my idea of a fun time! LOL.
I did sneak in some fun stamp room time today though, so I could bring you this fun challenge from Paper Craft Crew this week! It's a tic-tac-toe challenge, and I LOVE it!
So I got to choose any three elements, as long as they line up, tic-tac-toe style. This was so fun, and I am so excited to see the variety that comes from this challenge! You seriously need to click on the image above and check it out too – plus, then you can play along!

Now, admittedly, I do not think that Shabby Chic is a strong area for me when it comes to paper-crafting, despite LOVING it in decor. Whether or not this embodies Shabby-Chic – I still think that this is a CUTE card!!! I crupmled, I sponged, I tore, I sewed, there are pearls….I think that covers quite a bit.
When I was finalizing this card, something seemed to be missing. The Marina Mist layer just seemed "plain" so I actually stamped the head of the crazy chicken around the edge of the card in Marina Mist ink to add some pattern to it. I love the subtlety that it adds while adding just that little extra touch.
See?!? Cute, right? Maybe not quite as cute as the chick herself, I mean she is pretty darn cute.
