Paper Craft Crew #238 – Sketch Challenge, Stampin’ Up! Lovely As A Tree
Hey, hey, hey!!! It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another Paper Craft Crew Challenge! This week I was a little rebellious with my take on the sketch 🙂 Like I always say, though – sketches are meant to be a starting point for inspiration…
I had intentions of following the sketch, but once I had my sentiment stamped, and the main image stamped and I started putting it all together, well…. honestly, I tried to make something work, but at that point, I couldn't, so…
All I really left off was the little banner, so I guess I wasn't too rebellious! I LOVE the clean and simple look of this card. A Thick Whisper White base, and another piece of one of my favorite Designer Series Papers from the Serene Scenery Paper Stacks, really lend themselves to a great backdrop for this set of trees from Lovely As A Tree
GET THIS LOOK – To get this look, stamp your image in Early Espresso Classic Ink. You then color over the canopies of the trees, and the outline of the grass with the Old Olive Watercolor Pencil and blend with Blender Pens. Some of the Early Espresso ink will blend in and make for some beautiful variations of color.
