My Digital Studio Blog Hop…So grateful

The theme chosen for this week's blog hop was Thankful or Grateful, as my Canadian friends celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving this week. I thought about putting together a Thanksgiving theme ensemble, being as I never got around to creating a Halloween one last week, but this week I had the chance to do something VERY special. My husband and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary. We stole away with no kids to Disneyland, spoiled ourselves at Disneyland Grand Californian Hotel. It was WONDERFUL, I had almost 2 days of reafirmations as we were told over and over, "Happy Anniversary" everywhere we went. We went on rides together that we never have before, we spoiled ourselves with delicious food, and we relaxed, held hands, kissed like teenagers and became us again for a while. Here is a page I created to show my husband just how much he means to me!

Here is the text:

To say that I am grateful is an understatement. My life has been blessed from the moment I met Ryan, and now, after 8 years of marriage ….it's only better. I am grateful for a man I can truly call my best friend, for a man that loves me like I never knew I could be loved, someone who "gets me", who not only puts up with me, but encourages and supports me. A man who I have watched grow into an AMAZING Dad, someone who has worked hard to provide well for his family so that I may stay home to raise our boys. I may not always verbalize how deeply I am in love with him, or how grateful I am for him, but hopefully it shows in everything I do. Happy Anniversary Baby!

The colors I used are Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi and Early Espresso. I used multiple Designer Papers, most of them included but also Grateful Heart Thanksgiving. The title was done with Timeless Type Junior Alphabet Punches. Just a little stitching and the page came together pretty easily.

I am excited to see this week's MDS Blog hop projects. Then again I always am, it's fun to see all the talent my fellow designers come up with. How are you liking the hop so far? Any suggestions?

Ok – leave some comment love, suggestions – whatevah and then go check out my girls!
