MDS Blog Hop – It’s a Color Challenge!!!
Hi there! Happy Friday all!!! Hope it's been a great week for you. It's been a little busy here for me, and I am getting ready to head of to Salt Lake City next week for Stampin' Up!'s Annual Convention! I am nervous and excited and so ready for a break from my day to day stuff. Convention week can tend to be a little busy as well, but in a different way. OH – If you are going to Convention too, look for me. At least one day I will be wearing a shirt with our MDS Blog Hop logo on it. I know Holly ordered one too!
This week Amber challenged us with a color challenge. At first it was REALLY challenging. She threw in Primrose Petals and that totally threw me off! Once I figured out my pictures, it all came together pretty nicely I think…
The colors are Primrose Petals, Pool Party, Wild Wasabi, Going Gray, Pacific Point and Summer Starfruit!
Here is what I was able to pull together
I used my new MUST HAVE download, Natural Composition Overlay stamp Brush over the Pool Party to give it texture and to go with the ripples in the water, and Oh Splat! for the white splatters. I used a variety of embellishments in the challenge colors, trying to keep them in sets of three for a natural pleasing look. I used Tafeta Trimmings, the New In Color Dahlia Embelishments, the Brights Buttons, In Color Digital Tape and Bakers Twine. Whew! That's quite a bit! One of the things that I love is that the Dahlias come in FIFTY colors digitaly instead of 5 and you can make them BIGGER!!!! Yay!
I am really curious to see how the rest of my amazing friends on this blog hop used this Color Challenge. I am also challenging YOU to create something with this color combo and post it on your blog or www.mydigitalstudio.net and let me know!

Jeanna!! I LOVE it! I was so worried that everyone would have a hard time with this color scheme, but you totally knocked it out of the park! Have fun at convention – I’m expecting lots of pictures 😉
How fun 🙂
Great layout!! The colors are perfect for those cute pool pictures!
