MDS Blog Hop – Creating Home Decor With MDS
Hi there, welcome back!
Holy cow! Is it just because we are in the beginnings of a new school year, or is there something else making it seem like the days are flying by?
Did you get a chance to see yesterday's Artisan Blog Hop? Some GREAT GREAT projects, and some great MDS ideas too.
This week we wanted to do something a little different – so we focused on Home Decor items. Let me tell you – some talented ladies in this hop!!!
I have been wanting to make this sign for my son's room for a while now, so this was a nice push. I created it in a 12"x24" custom project. I want to get it printed and put it on a board.
He is going to LOVE it!!!! I used a Crumb Cake background, with a Natural Compositions stamp overlay. The font is downloaded and called "Varsity" The ball and player come from "Game Day Baseball" download.
Yes, I know it is simple – ahhhh, the beauty of designing for BOYS! When I get it printed and hung in his room I will post it for ya!

TIP - I LOVE being able to change the oppacity of items in MDS to build depth.
