Let me tell you – when your baby comes walking down the stairs covered in Real Red marker – marker is NOT your first thought! Especially when he has drawn around his neck!
This was the finale to two days of not listening – having "messy" p.t. accidents, not napping, roughhousing with "guest" friends and chasing little girls with baseball bats,making some ginormous messes, reverting to the whining baby voice, locking little brother out of his room, tantrum throwing….you get the idea. I was amazed at how calm I remained for this one! No yelling. More of" baby, you did a really bad thing, so Mommy will help you, but you need to clean this up". What else could I do? I guess I shouldn’t have left my door open.
Meanwhile, I think little brother is getting another tooth, or at least I hope that’s the reason why he has blessed me with lots of stinky presents the past few days. Needless to say, he’s had to sit on his own for a while when Mommy and brother have been having some talks! He’s a trooper though.
I just put a new floor in our kitchen – I love it! Need to get some pictures, but it’s a vinyl floor that looks like a medium/dark brown slate. So pretty. Is it any wonder why I haven’t been stamping as much? I did make my Mom’s birthday card today. I’ll call her tomorrow and tell her not to look at the blog so I can post it for y’all.
Oh yeah – any one had the chance to "pay it forward" lately?
wow I thought my boys were the only naughty boys! lol. Lincoln has 2 teeth so he needs to get about 6 more soon! so hes got a bad diaper rash and whines all day! and Caleb is whining also and fighting with his brother and he found the crayons and coloured all over his door and today I go see why hes quiet and hes cutting paper with my big paper cutter! Im scared hes going to cut himself! I need to put it up hi now! oh and the other day he was unpluging a cord and trying to plug it in! boys! I want another one right now why again lol. why is it when kids are quiet they are getting in to trouble?!?
ok thanks I need to go check on them now! almost nap time!

Oh I can so relate to your little darling son. My DD did Sharpie marker (luckily most of it was her stomach and it was winter!) and later that week she climbed onto a file cabinet (from a nearby chair) and cut some of her hair.
