I still like it
Allison made a funny comment on her blog the other day (you can check it out on the left) about using the products all the "popular girls" are using. Sometimes I feel that way… Now, I do have some cool things, but I don’t have any Bella images, I’ve never even touched a Prima flower, I have some ribbons, but not a ton, I couldn’t tell you the last time I bought a patterned paper other than Stampin’Up!, Cuttlebug, scalloped punches, Crop-a-diles…. you know what I’m talking about. But you know what, I’m so OK with it…you know why? Because I still LOVE the cards that I make, and so do the people I send them to. I’m not "ranting" here, just stating a very simple fact. I’m sure some of you have felt the same way!
So here are 2 cards using a "not so cool" set. Now – some people may be shocked to see this. This is a GREAT set, a LOT of Stampin’ Up! customers purchase and use this set. That’s why I think it’s a great set. Now ask some demonstrators who’ve been around a while and you’ll understand that first comment.
This first one was an idea I had come up with before I had ever even heard about SCS. Of course, I later found out I am not the only "clever" one that saw this little guy doing cartwheels in my head. I love this card! I’ve made it for so many occasions, and I will keep making them! This is the type of card you would "expect" to see with Nice and Easy Notes.
Now, this second one is a CASE from a previous year’s IB&C and I {heart} it! To me it has a touch of rustic elegance and classic charm. It’s amazing how much a color scheme and coloring medium can change the look of a stamp.
*Well, wish me luck tonight, I’m holding my first ever Group downline get together! I’m very excited. Then on Monday I’m going to do a class that will teach how to get the most out of the Idea Book and REALLY using it for ideas and inspiration. Should be fun.

Great cards Jeanna!! Best wishes for tonight! Tis the season . . . I have Stamp Camp tomorrow! 🙂
Awesome cards…I am just easily enabled…too much blog surfing!
I love your cards, and I hope your meeting went well!
Your cards are really lovely – sometimes we don’t have to be on the cutting edge to produce what is truly edgy. Keep it up!
