I am beat!
Today was a really long day with the boys…..then I got to play Jeanna for a while! I took the boys over to my friend Hilary's house so they could play with her two boys and I went to another friend's house for a card swap! How FUN! I loved being able to be myself if even for just 2 hours. I got some FAB-U-LOUS cards too! I won a prize for my Thank You card – and I bet you'd like to see it too. Silly me didn't keep any of my own cards. I know – ding dong – huh? Oh well, I'll post some of my faves later.
Update on Blake – I got to see him today and he looks pretty good. The bullet that hit him in the leg broke his tibia/fibula and there are fragments of the bullet still in his calf that the doctors chose not to remove. He has a metal rod in his leg and will for the next 6 months or so. It was nice to see him and meet his wife, and I know while this recovery period may not be easy – they are going to be just fine. Thanks for your prayers.
