Hat in the ring – Display Stamper Submission
Hi there, and Happy Friday!
Before every Stampin' Up! event, Stampin' Up! gives it's Demonstrators the opportunity to apply to be a Display Stamper. This means that those Demonstrators chosen will get to create samples for the display boards at the event. It is SO FUN! Being as that I will be attending the event here in Vegas where I live, I'm really hoping to be selected!
We were asked to submit 3 cards, 2 3-d items and a scrapbook page. We can select from ones we've already created, or create new ones. I chose a little of both!
First up, I would like to share my scrapbook page. This might be one of my favorite pages I've created. It tells a huge piece of our children's story. Not to mention, those big blue eyes on my snuggly little guy when he was a baby! Thanks to this story, I HAD to have these cute little Party Pandas that will be available for Sale-A-Bration!!! By omitting a balloon and party hat, I was easily able to use them for a non-party project!
I love how the Pool Party, Lemon Lime Twist and Bermuda Bay pop against the black. It's also going to be neat to look back on this page due to the fact that he LOVES polka-dots!
Here, take a peek in to this fun little story that is so precious to our family.

Next up, I'd like to share my cards with you.
I love to color with my Stampin' Blends, and I love the way this darling image turned out! I wanted the image to definitely be a focal point, so I left the rest subtle.
I LOVE the bright colors and happy layout on this next card. I also love the punch that the small touches of black give it. This set that is coming out in January, Picture Perfect Birthday, is sure to be a favorite!

Like I said before, I LOVE to color! This new flower image gave me the perfect opportunity to color away! Again, when paired with the black, it makes a striking, and elegant card. The Stampin' Blends allow you to create such depth, and give you a truly professional and artistic finished look.
I am so looking forward to these silver gable boxes coming out in the new catalog. For this one, I carefully took it apart at the seam and embossed it in the big shot with the Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder, then glued it back together and Voila! Super Fun!!! I have a feeling these are going to be a very popular item!
These popcorn boxes are definitely one of my favorite dies. It's nice to be able to be able to create such a perfectly sized box so quickly! It holds just the right amount of chocolate! Just a reminder – this one uses a Paper Pumpkin stamp – don't forget to USE THOSE after you've created all of your projects in the kit! They are AMAZING sets!!!

So, there you have it. Six creations that I hope show off my stamping style well enough to be selected to create for the display boards! Now it's just a matter of crossing my fingers and waiting!
Hope you have a lovely weekend!
