Fancy Friday – Holiday Inspiration
Hey there!!!!
Welcome back!!! It's FINALLY FRIDAY!!! The temps are finally dropping here in Las Vegas. It's beginning to feel like fall. It made it a little easier to create this month's Fancy Friday card when I saw our inspiration photo.
Pine, distressed wood, fire, flannel, plaid, burlap, Santa, chalkboard and so much more. There really was so much inspiration in this it was hard to decide which direction to go! Ultimately, I chose the color combo or Real Red and Whisper White with just a touch of Garden Green, plaid from the pillow and the word art on the other pillow.
This was a really quick and simple card to pull together. I love making plaid by stamping Brushstrokes in the two directions – quick and easy! Then I just stamped the sentiment, cut it out with the new Stitched Shapes dies (they are AWESOME, I am HOOKED – and look how nicely it layers with the Layering Squares dies!
I am excited to see what Sue has for you this month. You know her stuff is always amazing!
