Fancy Friday – December 2016! Merry Monochromatic!

Hey there!!!! 

   Welcome back!!! It's FINALLY FRIDAY. I've just had one of those weeks!!! Most of the time, having three boys is AMAZING – I honestly love it. Then there are weeks like this one…. filled with challenges, struggles, boo-boos and tears. Makes it hard. Honestly, I am really grateful that I actually got this project done early, or it might not have happened!!!

 

 So this month's challenge is to use a neutral, monochramatic color scheme. I decided to go almost all white with just a touch of gold. One way to make a monochromatic color scheme really work is by adding lots of texture. I used a TON on this card. Three different embossing folders, the Gold Cord, the Gold embossing and the little sequins. One thing that you can't really see (thank you cloudy day) is that I brushed the pines with Wink of Stella so that it adds a special sparkle.
