OK, so the Paper Pumpkin monthly kits are awesome the way they are, REALLY. Sometimes I love just sitting down and creating the projects just the way they are. It's easy, fun, and maybe even refreshing for me. Sometimes though, I want to PLAY!
EEEP!!! I can barely stand the CUTENESS. The colors were so fun to play with. Now, I made the bag just like it's shown in the kit, then I started playing with different parts and pieces and came up with a few more things. I really didn't use too much that wasn't included – just a few things.
So, I made a little treat holder full of lemon drops, a sweet little notebook, a YUMMY covered chocolate(I used the back panel of one of the bags) and a tiny little "birthday cake" tea light!
I just had to make a fun little tag, of course…. However, my FAVE part - THIS!!!!
This BALLOON! Seriously! I took little strips of one of the patterns in the kit and curled them around the skewer first, I also trimmed down some of the fun, included tissue paper for streamers. Isn't it ADORABLE?
