2013 Artisan Design Team – Artisan Wednesday Wow – Some Holiday Happiness
Hi! Welcome Back!
So, what did you think of last week? AMAZING, right? I LOVE this Design Team!
Every Wednesday for the
next year, the 2013 Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team will be bringing you
FUN, new, exclusive projects – shared here on our blogs. Are you
looking forward to it as much as we are???? I know we sure hope so!
Maybe you just came from Jane's blog – that girl ROCKS! If not, make sure you follow the hop all the way around to check out all 10 projects!
So, I think I mentioned that this box definitely said – DECOR and "3D" to me. I have the perfect little spot for an 8×10 picture frame and I LOVE changing it out for seasons, celebrations and even just on a whim…
For whatever reason, I had a REALLY hard time getting this to photograph well, I hope you can see some of the detail….
The back layer is a page from the Witche's Brew Designer Series Paper. Then there is a Gumball Green mat, layered with Basic Black The main image panel is actually stamped on Coaster Board (layered with Basic Black) and on Dimensionals. I inked the stamp with markers and the little chevron pumpkin on the end has an additional layer and the smiley face guy is popped up. The "Halloween Happiness" is embossed in Basic Black Embossing Powder, also on a layer of Coaster Board, hand cut and layered on a hand cut, Gumball Green flag.
When I put it in the frame, I actually placed it on the FRONT side of the glass so that you can enjoy all the fun dimension!
COLOR COMBO – Basic Black, Gumball Green, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White
TIP - Don't be afraid to stamp an image multiple times to cut out, layer and add dimension.
Hope you enjoy all of the AMAZING projects that the rest of the team
has for you today. These are some special projects, so please let the
team know what you think!
Hope you have a great day!!!
