2013 Artisan Design Team – Artisan Wednesday Wow – An “Unexpected”

The day I sat down to work on these projects, I was REALLY in a "something other than a card" mode. Everything I made was some sort of home decor it seemed. I'm really not sure what tiny corner of my brain came up with this – but I am sure glad I did – I LOVE IT

I googled a pattern for a party hat and masquerade mask, printed them, cut them out and adhered them to the Essentials Designer Series Paper, then cut them out again and started embellishing!

I think I have a renewed addiction to Black Embossing Powder lately…..

See the little bat???? Well, he started his life as a Butterfly punch!!! I just used me small circle punch and punched away some of his wings and Voila!

About half way through wrapping that dowel I began to realize I had lost my mind. The feathers came from the Feathered Woodcuts in MDS and were cut out with my Silhouette. Lots of black glitter!!!
