Artisan Wednesday Wow – Hey there Henry
Welcome back friends! I know I haven't posted this past week due to some life issues – and for some reason you couldn't even comment on my blog, but the emails that I have received have been so welcome! It means that much more to me that you are all back!
Did you LOVE Jane's project? That girl ROCKS!
When I first saw little Henry here – I wasn't so sure. He was cute and all, just not sure he was really my style. I LOVE all the fun, paper pieced projects I've seen with him, just wanted to do something a little different for myself. I LOVE to watercolor – not sure if it's one of my strengths, but I love doing it!
After I had created the main panel, I wasn't quite sure how to finish the card. Then my sweet friend said it looked like something out of an award winning children's book, so I was inspired to use the First Edition Designer Papers to give it a little bit of a book look… A little Baker's Twine around his trunk just to make sure he doesn't forget of course to finish off the card!
Go take a peek at Marisa's project this week. She always inspires me!
Have a great day! Don't forget that today is the MDS Blog Hop also!

I LOOOOOOOOOVE Henry!!! You are an amazing painter. I wish I could color/paint things that looked like “stuff”. My paintings look like a toddler helped. You rock!!
Jeanna, this is adorable. Love the coloring, the twine around the trunk and the flowers on the hill. Awesome!
