Fancy Friday!!! Something other than a card – Shine On friend boxes!

 Welcome back to Fancy Friday! 

I love making cards, really I do, but sometimes I want to make other stuff. When I went to Stampin' Up!'s OnStage event earlier this month, I knew I would run in to some people that really make me smile. People that I just love and only get to see about once a year. I wanted to make them a little extra something. I wish I could have made gifts for like 100 other people I ran in to, but you know….time, money – those pesky things…..

 Here is the cute little box I gave to my special peeps…

 Aren't they ADORABLE?!!?! I kind of should have kept one for myself! So, back in January when my awesome friends Mercedes and her husband James were here, she showed me how to make this great box with the Gift Bag Punch Board. In fact, to tell the truth, James actually punched and scored all the boxes for me. I was going to use them at a Hostess Party and changed my mind at the last minute… LOL

 I knew they would make the perfect little holder for some Hershey Kisses, So I grabbed my Sunburst Sayings stamp set and started playing!!! The box and ink are Pool Party, and the ribbon is Bermuda Bay. But I really think that the gorgeous Shine On Specialty Designer Paper "belly band" really makes the project! I am telling you, I am using this stuff like crazy and I KNOW I will miss it once the new catalog comes out….
