A Paper Pumpkin Thing – Hope Box

 Hello! Welcome! It feels like it's been forever since I've blogged, or stamped for that matter. Things have been bust here. Lots of challenges. Little challenges, but lots of them. I hope that today finds you well 🙂

 Today I get the chance to hop with the Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop crew, to share some great alternative projects from the gorgeous Hope Box. This box was seriously probably one of my all time favorite boxes ever. Funny thing is, I can say that even though there's scary butterflies (lol). I LOVE the colors and cards and the sentiment stamps. What an awesome kit. Thanks to the awesome Paper Pumpkin team at Stampin' Up! for this one!

 I could hardly believe all of the gorgeousness included in the box, never mind the fact that the box itself can be decorated!!!

 I absolutely LOVED the fun, bright colors in the kit, and the gorgeous watercolor look. I decided to keep with the bright color theme with my cards today.

 

 For this clean and simple style card, heat emboss the small butterfly image with white Stampin' Emboss Powder, then use Sponge Daubers to add Melon Mambo, Poppy Parade, Bumblebee, Bermuda Bay, and Blackberry Bliss on top. To make sure that the embossed images popped, wipe off any excess ink. You'd also want to emboss the sentiment to keep with the same feel.

 I LOVE this card, and plan on making lots more of it! I kept the background a bit on the simple side so that the multicolored sentiment would be the star of the show. To create this look, just take the same sponge daubers as above and add the ink colors directly to the stamp! Easy, and such a great impact.

 Fun, right? The possibilities from this Paper Pumpkin kit are endless, and I can't wait to see all of the great projects from this hop!
