A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop – Something for Everything
Hi friends!!! Back today with some fun Paper Pumpkin alternatives using this month's awesome kit – Something for Everything! I love teaming up with this Blog Hop, because I know I am always looking for fun inspiration using these great kits.
This was a great kit! Designed to make 12 versatile card bases, the stamp set included covered SO MANY occasions! There's 13 sentiments!
Once I started playing with it, I JUST KEPT GOING! In just a short time I was able to create 2 cards and a gift box for this hop, plus another card for a tutorial!
By cutting up the front of one of the cute pre-printed cards, and adding some additional cardstock I was able to come up with these sweet cards! The floral layers are 4"x 2 1/2" for the "you're the best" card, and 4" x 3" for the "feel better soon" card. I found it easy to create the sentiment strips by cutting 1/2 inch strips first, then stamping and embossing.
I also used another card to create a sweet and simple gift box. By cutting the card down the center, you have a solid and a pattern piece. To create the box, just score at 3/4" on all sides on both pieces, snip the ends and fold the flaps in to create the boxes. Embellish with the beautiful self-adhesive pieces included with the kit. This is such a FAST was to create gift boxes!
