Box Fold Card
Here is a quick little tutorial for a fun little card!
It opens like the top of a folded closed box!
Here is what you need
Your card base – 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ (Primrose Petals shown here)
Your main piece – 8″ square
4 pieces of Designer Series Paper -1 1/2″x 1 1/2″
4 Mat pieces – 1 3/4″x 1 3/4″
Score your main piece at 2″ on all four sides. So score 2″ on one side, turn 90 degrees, score at 2″ again and repeat for all sides. Then cut out the corners as shown above.
Fold it up like you were closing a box.
Turn it over and apply glue to the back, then adhere it to your base piece.
Now prepare your panels that will adorn the card. Apply adhesive to the back of your Designer Series Paper and adhere to the mats.
Apply the squares to the squares of your main piece…
Add a sentiment or other stamped image, embellish and send!
